Requirments for
Killing Cattle
  • They must be clean
  • 2 Tags must be present on the beast (1 on each ear)
  • Their Passport must be brought on arrival
  • Food Chain Information must be completed.
  • Additional Food Chain Information must be completed if there is anything wrong with the Cattle 
  • They must be under 72 months (under 6 years)  
  • Please note if you have Highland Cattle the horns can not be more than 1 meter from tip to tip.
  • A Private Kill Information form must be completed.

  • Registration with ScotEID (fill form in and bring in on arrival) www.scoteid.com/
  • They must be Tagged, Tattooed, Slapmarked.
  • They must be in a healthy condition
  • A Private Kill Information form must be completed.

  • A movement document which includes the Food Chain Information must be completed and present on arrival
  • Additional Food Chain Information must be completed if there is anything wrong with the Sheep/Goats.
